Weekly Paper Guide

Overview

Weekly Paper is a brand-new academic paper tracking and interpretation module in Unitary Studio Web. It automatically tracks cutting-edge papers each week and combines AI interpretation capabilities to help you quickly stay on top of developments in your field, understand core paper methodologies, and engage in deep academic discussions with the AI assistant.

This chapter helps you understand:

• How to browse and search for trending papers.
• How to view AI-generated paper interpretations.
• How to engage in deep Q&A and discussion about paper content with the AI assistant.
• How the weekly auto-tracking mechanism works.

Paper Browsing and Search

When you enter the Weekly Paper page, you will see a card-flow layout of papers. Each card displays basic paper information (title, authors, abstract summary, etc.). The page supports scrolling to continuously load more papers.

Browsing:

• Papers are displayed as a card feed; scroll up and down to browse.
• Each paper card contains the title, authors, source, and abstract summary. Click a card to expand the paper detail page.
• The paper list is continuously updated, with new papers automatically appended.

Search:

• A search box is provided at the top of the page, supporting search by paper title, author, or keyword.
• After entering a search term, the list filters matching papers in real time, helping you quickly locate the target literature.

Search supports fuzzy matching, so you do not need to enter a complete title or full author name to find relevant papers.

AI Paper Interpretation

After clicking any paper card to enter the detail page, the page displays the paper abstract and AI-interpreted paper content, covering research background, core methods, key formulas, and relevance to your research, helping you quickly grasp the paper’s context. The right side contains a chapter table of contents that lets you quickly navigate to sections of interest.

Table of contents navigation:

• The right-side table of contents is automatically generated by AI based on the paper structure, listing each chapter title.
• Click any entry to jump directly to the corresponding section — no need to scroll through the entire paper.

Suggestions:

• Start by browsing the abstract and AI interpretation to build an overall understanding, then use the table of contents to dive into chapters of interest.
• If the interpretation mentions specific terms or methods, you can follow up directly in the AI assistant panel on the right (see next section).

Deep Discussion with the AI Assistant

On the paper detail page, you can engage in deep discussion about the current paper with the AI assistant at any time.

How to use:

• An AI assistant panel is embedded on the right side of the paper detail page. The Agent automatically senses the complete content of the current paper.

• Ask questions directly about any part of the paper without manually copying and pasting text — just type your question in the input box.

• The AI assistant supports the following types of interaction:

  • Concept explanation: ask about unfamiliar terminology, methods, or formulas in the paper.
  • Deep follow-up: ask progressive follow-up questions about a specific viewpoint or experimental design.
  • Related exploration: ask about comparisons, connections, or differences between this paper and other related work.
  • Practical advice: discuss how the paper’s methods can be applied to your specific research scenario.

Suggestions:

• Read the AI interpretation first to build an overall understanding, then ask the AI assistant about specific questions for greater efficiency.
• The AI assistant retains context memory, enabling coherent multi-step follow-up within a single conversation.
• Conversation content is associated with the current paper. If you switch to a different paper, start a new conversation to maintain context accuracy.

Weekly Auto-Tracking

One of the core features of the Weekly Paper module is the weekly auto-tracking mechanism:

• The system automatically fetches the latest papers from major academic sources (arXiv, etc.) each week and updates the paper database.
• Papers are preprocessed by AI, which automatically generates summaries and structured interpretations. No manual import or configuration is needed.
• The paper list is ordered by time, with the most recent week’s papers displayed first. Historical papers are preserved for retrospective browsing.

What this means:

• You do not need to manually search for and filter papers. Simply open Weekly Paper each week to see the latest developments in your field.
• Every paper comes with an AI interpretation, significantly reducing the time cost of broad reading and filtering.
• Historical papers can be browsed retrospectively, so you won’t miss important past literature.
